EduMedia Signet for Webducation
Also this year a Webducation production took part at the Comenius EduMedia Awards for didactical multimedia productions.
The Society for Pedagogy and Information (SPI) decided to give a EduMedia Signet to the Webducation production www.praterdynastien.at in the category “political, historic and contemporary education”. ”With the Comenius EduMedia Awards the SPI supports multimedia products that are of great educational and creative value”, said Univ.-Prof. Dr.Dr. Gerhard Ortner, president of the SPI.

Prater dynasty – an online flash-application
"I wanted to raise some kind of modern monument for my ancestors and still working relatives", says Silvia Lang, business woman in Vienna´s most famous fairground, the so called Prater. "Due to their achievement, the Prater owns its worldwide fame."
With the help of family trees, historic material, personal foto material, old post cards and maps of the Prater the website is getting alive. Due to the huge amount of pictures, texts and the typical music of these past days, the website´s visitor gets a good impression about how life must have been in the Prater many, many years ago.
